Critical Issues 2016

La 20^ème édition du congrès Critical Issues in Aortic Endografting s’est déroulée à Lille les 20 et 21 mai. Une salle de concert et de spectacle pour une conférence médicale, ce n’est pas commun !

En organisant ce congrès à l’hôtel Barrière, au cœur de Lille, nous avons pu accueillir près de 400 inscrits venus des 4 coins du monde. En effet, 70% des participants venaient de l’étranger. Les sujets les plus pointus du moment en endovasculaire de l’anévrisme aortique ont pu être abordés et discutés dans la capitale du Nord, avec comme hôte local Stéphan Haulon, chef de service au CHRU de Lille. Ce congrès tournant était de retour en France après 4 ans. Nous avons été enchantés de l’organiser à nouveau !

The 20^th edition of the Critical Issues Congress in Aortic Endografting took place on May 20 and 21, in Lille. An auditorium for a concert and show at a medical congress, this was something new!

By organizing this congress in the Barrière Hotel in the heart of Lille, we welcomed nearly 400 attendees from the 4 corners of the world. Indeed, 70% of the participants came from abroad. The most advanced topics of the moment in endovascular aortic aneurysm were addressed and discussed in the Northern capital, with the local host Stéphan Haulon, head of the University Hospital of Lille.
This rotating congress was back in France after 4 years. We were delighted to have organized it once again!
